Wayne H. Lund, age 50, McGregor died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at his home near McGregor.
Wayne was born June 26, 1965, in St. Louis Park, the son of Carroll and Marilyn (Quam) Lund. He grew up and attended schools in Hopkins and graduated from the Hopkins High School in 1983.
Wayne worked a number of jobs and then learned the tiling trade. He worked as a tiler in the cities and the McGregor area. He married Kay Marie Pelto July 30, 1993, in Minneapolis. They moved to the McGregor area in the mid 1990s and had lived there since. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting agates. He was an avid drummer. He was a member of the Calvary Evangelical Church in Minneapolis.
He is survived by his wife Kay, McGregor; and sister: Vicki Lund, Brooklyn Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark Lund.
